How do I get approval for physiotherapy or exercise physiology under the NDIS?

In order to access allied health under the NDIS, follow these steps:

  • Exercise Physiology & Physiotherapy services are available under self-managed and plan-managed and can be provided under both ‘Improved Daily Living’ and ‘Improved Health and Well-being’.

  • Follow the NDIS checklist for eligibility. Contact the NDIS on 1800 800 110 and an NDIS representative will assist you with your questions.

  • We are a registered provider of the NDIS

  • Once your application is approved you will then work with a Local Area Coordinator or Planner to layout your needs and goals. They will assist you in allocating your funding to the necessary services.

  • Once approved by the NDIS, contact us to book an appointment. Please notify us that you are NDIS-approved, and have your NDIS registration number ready. After we confirm how your funding is being managed, we can then start the initial assessment. Our therapists will work with you to set meaningful goals to guide your treatment and from there set up a management plan.
